Alexis Creek Elementary and Junior Secondary School is located in the heart of the Chilcotin, just off highway 20 in Alexis Creek. Our school is located on traditional Tsilhqot’in territory. We serve approximately 40 students from several communities including Alexis Creek, Tl’Etinqox, Yunesit’in, and surrounding ranches. We enroll Kindergarten to Grade 10 in three separate classroom divisions.
Our mission at Alexis Creek Elementary/Junior Secondary is to maintain a safe, nourishing and inclusive school community while building trusting relationships that are mutually respectful and student-centred. Equally as important, we strive to teach and learn with purpose, always keeping our unique cultures and perspectives at the forefront the this process.
